Day 32 of 52 Nia dance
Yesterday I sent these flowers from our garden off with a friend preparing a service honoring the passage of her father-in-law and realized my plan to memorize Nia’s Bloom choreography had completely fallen off my radar.
Today’s a busy day, but I found half an hour this morning to dance the middle section of Bloom. I always love the “Rebel Soul” portion of this dance, but today “Shake Down Hold Up” by Duplex Heart really got me going. I love how one of the moves almost feels like throwing the dice in a casino, both careless and powerful.
